This year marks the 15th Annual Music Fest. Performers donate their time and talent to create a sensational show with the proceeds benefiting the Rio Grande Children's Home in Mission, Texas. Music Fest 2012 will take place at noon on Saturday, February 4th at the new Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance.
Rich Bellert will once again serve as emcee. A great line-up of performers includes The Link Family, Gary and Patsy Crain, Fred and Sheila Pelletier, Precious Jade, Stephen Lopez and The Ball Ranch Family.
The Rio Grande Children's Home (RGCH) is the home for 36 abused and neglected children, ages ranging from 0 to 17 years of age. The RGCH is committed to providing the best possible care for children in a loving, Christian environment.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the Rio Grande Children's Home in Mission, the Buckner office in Harlingen, Alamo Chamber of Commerce, Mission Chamber of Commerce and the Winter Texan Times in Mission. For more information call (956) 585-4847. |
Our primary ministries:
Buckner Children and Family Services provides residential programs for at-risk children and families; mission ventures domestically and internationally designed to enhance the lives of orphans and desperate children; church collaborations, which offer the experience and expertise of Buckner; child mentorships, which pair one adult with one elementary school child; foster care programs domestically and internationally, and domestic and international adoption.
Buckner Retirement Services provides a continuum of care for older residents in five communities in Texas Austin, Beaumont, Dallas, Houston, and Longview.
Camp Buckner Retreat and Conference Center, located in the Texas Hill Country just north of Austin on more than 800 acres, provides a summer camp program for children and serves as an ideal setting for church and corporate retreats. |
